Qualifications

• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and scheduling software.
• Ability to use office technology (computer, scanner, iPad, credit card machine).
• Customer service and relations experience.
• Clinical setting background with medical billing knowledge is a plus.
• Willingness to follow directions and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional demeanor and strong organization skills.
• Experience with G-Suite and initiative-taking mindset.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Verify insurances and authorizations for visits.
• Delegate and coordinate tasks with staff and therapists.
• Enter charges (copays, co-insurance) and review daily patient payments.
• Coordinate in-services and events with Site Director and management.
• Perform clerical duties and assist patients with paperwork.
• Communicate client arrivals and ensure session timeliness.
• Multitask and complete duties within standard timeframes.
• Maintain neat, organized workspace and facility cleanliness.
• Assist with scheduling, lost patients, and rescheduling plans of care.
• Follow up on daily reports to prevent delays in patient care.
