Job summary

Rehab 2 Perform in Vienna, VA is seeking a Clinic Coordinator to oversee daily clinic operations, manage the physical therapy schedule, and deliver exceptional patient service.

Under supervision of the Site Director or Corporate Management, you will prepare patients for treatment, collect payments and paperwork, and handle housekeeping duties while coordinating with therapists and staff to keep sessions running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Experience with EMR systems and scheduling software.
• Familiarity with PromptEMR, Revflow or similar healthcare software a plus.
• Customer service/relations experience.
• Basic understanding of patient care concepts (physiology, anatomy, neurology) helpful.
• Experience in clinical settings with medical billing terms (CPT, ICD-10) is a plus.
• Willingness to follow directions and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional, courteous demeanor.
• Able to organize and prioritize tasks as needs change.
• Experience using Google Docs, Gmail, Calendar.

Responsibilities

• Verify insurances and authorizations for visits.
• Coordinate tasks with other coordinators, therapists, site directors and management.
• Enter charges (copays, coinsurance, payments) and review daily patient payments.
• Plan in-services and events with Site Director and management.
• Perform clerical duties: inventory, ordering supplies, phone duties, assist patients with paperwork.
• Communicate patient arrivals and ensure session timeliness.
• Multitask effectively and complete tasks within deadlines.
• Maintain a neat, organized workspace and facility cleanliness.
• Assist with scheduling and patient-care plans, rescheduling as needed.
• Follow up on daily reports and coordinate prescriptions/authorizations to avoid delays.
