Job summary

Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center seeks a capable supervisor to oversee practice site clerical staff and ensure efficient operations across scheduling, cash handling, and patient registration.

You will partner with the Manager and Medical Director to advance quality improvements, support staff engagement, and uphold policies while delivering excellent patient experiences in a multi-specialty clinic.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Working knowledge of team function within the organization.
• One year of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision of the practice site clerical staff and manage clerical operations.
• Oversee cost-effective management of office supplies and resources.
• Ensure adherence to quality, privacy, and cash handling policies across scheduling and registration.
• Improve patient satisfaction by guiding clerical staff interactions and service quality.
• Support staff engagement through staff meetings and scenario-based discussions.
• Assist Manager and Medical Director with integration of institutional initiatives and quality improvements.
