Job summary

Bon Secours is seeking an Office Coordinator for In Motion Physical Therapy at Chilled Pond in Chesapeake, VA. The role supports the practice as a Medical Assistant or Front Desk teammate, coordinating staff and administrative tasks and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The candidate will handle scheduling, patient check-in, insurance verification, chart preparation, and post charges while maintaining HIPAA standards and delivering excellent patient experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• BLS Basic Life Support certification required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize and coordinate work; protect confidentiality; monitor quality and correct errors.
• Support sites to achieve strong Press Ganey Patient Experience scores and implement improvements when needed.
• Train new site staff and ensure HIPAA guidelines are followed.
• Verify insurance coverage and obtain authorizations as needed.
