Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking an Office Coordinator for a Mary Immaculate/In Motion PT site. The role blends Medical Assistant/Front Desk duties to support a busy practice and ensure smooth patient flow.

You will oversee scheduling, chart preparation, HIPAA compliance, billing support, and coordination with providers to maintain high patient experiences. Requires strong customer service and healthcare basics.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• BLS Basic Life Support certification is required

Responsibilities

• Plans, prioritizes, and coordinates the work of others; maintains confidentiality of sensitive information
• Ensures regulatory compliance and accurate posting of charges and CPT/ICD-9 codes
• Balances receipts and deposits at close of day; verifies insurance coverage and pre-authorizations
• Trains new site staff and maintains effective working relationships with clinicians and office staff
