Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Field Technician to provide fast, effective technical support for computer systems in clinics. Travel 50-75% supports our Kansas City, MO clinics with secondary work in Des Moines, IA.

You will diagnose issues, deploy hardware, assist with onboarding, and coordinate with vendors to maintain network and equipment uptime. The role requires 2+ years in service desk or similar, strong customer service, and good English communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of service desk or related experience.
• General knowledge of multiple operating systems (Microsoft, Chrome, Mac).
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to communicate effectively in English both written and verbal.
• Flexible and positive attitude with strong organization.
• Experience in fast-paced environment and PC skills (Microsoft Office, Google suite).
• Basic knowledge of ITIL or equivalent and Service Desk metrics/SLAs.

Responsibilities

• Level 1-2 support with tickets and field issues.
• Route/escalate Help Desk tickets to appropriate team members and document actions through to resolution.
• Troubleshoot IT issues remotely or in-person on desktops, printers, peripherals, and networks.
• Maintain uptime for computers and peripherals.
• Work with vendors to service basic medical equipment and manage network infrastructure.
• Assist with new hire orientations and deploying hardware.
• Visit clinics regularly; travel 50-75% focusing on Kansas City, MO area with secondary Des Moines, IA support.
• Keep accurate inventory of IT-related equipment.
• Assist with IT strategy implementation and network expansion.
• Lift or perform physical tasks up to 50 lbs.
