Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a Field Service Technician to provide on-site technical support at CVS Pharmacy locations across Taunton/New Bedford, MA. You will troubleshoot POS, pharmacy systems, and store technology, performing maintenance and hardware upgrades with minimal supervision.

Travel between stores, install new equipment, and collaborate with IT teams to resolve complex issues while maintaining service records and delivering strong customer support to store colleagues.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware, repairs, and maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license with no major violations.
• Willingness to travel within Taunton/New Bedford, MA service area.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs and occasionally work on ladders.

Responsibilities

• Travel between CVS Pharmacy locations to provide on-site technical support and maintenance.
• Deliver hands-on support for POS, pharmacy systems, photo kiosks, and inventory management.
• Perform preventative maintenance, software updates, hardware upgrades, and replacements.
• Install and configure POS terminals, peripherals, and network connectivity in stores.
• Diagnose and resolve complex on-site technical issues and determine root causes.
• Maintain documentation of service calls, installations, repairs, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to resolve issues.
• Provide exceptional customer service to store colleagues during troubleshooting.
• Manage inventory of IT parts, tools, and supplies; track stock and place orders.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for urgent service needs.
