Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Field Service Technician to provide on-site technical support at CVS Pharmacy locations. The role involves traveling between stores to maintain and repair computer systems, POS terminals, and network connectivity, ensuring minimal disruption to store operations.

You will diagnose issues, perform preventative maintenance, and collaborate with remote IT teams to escalate and resolve complex problems while delivering excellent in-store customer service.

Qualifications

• 1+ years hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware, repairs and maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license with no major violations.
• Willingness to travel frequently within service area.

Responsibilities

• Travel between CVS Pharmacy locations to provide on-site technical support and maintenance.
• Deliver hands-on support for store systems, including POS systems, pharmacy systems, photo kiosks, and inventory management systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance, software updates, hardware upgrades, and equipment replacements.
• Install and integrate new technology in stores, including setup and configuration of POS terminals, peripherals, and network connectivity.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues on-site, determining root causes and implementing effective solutions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of service calls, equipment installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
