Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Read, write and understand English; communicate effectively with patients and staff.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
• BLS certification within 3 months of hire.
• Mandatory Reporter abuse training within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Check-in patients efficiently and ensure admitting complies with policies.
• Answer calls and direct them appropriately.
• Schedule appointments per office guidelines.
• Obtain accurate patient and insurance information; collect copays and deductibles.
• Scan/Copy patient documents into the EMR.
