Job summary

Mt. Spokane Pediatrics is seeking a friendly receptionist to serve as the face of the clinic, handling patient check-ins, registrations, and payments with care and professionalism.

You will manage calls, messages, and patient portal requests, ensuring accurate data entry in the HER system and maintaining confidential patient information in line with HIPAA requirements. A team-oriented, mindful approach is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years old.
• Reliable transportation.
• Willing to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Treat all patients and their families in a friendly and polite manner in all interactions.
• Answer incoming phone calls, faxes, emails, and patient portal requests.
• Register new patients with the clinic and accurately record their information in the designated HER system.
• Prep daily paperwork and charts to track patient appointments and ensure valid insurance, copay, and balance information is correct.
• Collect payment via various methods and accurately record the receipts.
• Scan, Copy and Print patient documentation.
