Job summary

Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy is hiring a Clinic Support Associate to handle front desk operations and assist clinicians in patient care. This is a long-term role with potential for growth in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The position requires strong customer service, excellent communication, and the ability to manage scheduling, data entry in EMR, and HIPAA-compliant patient handling while maintaining a welcoming environment. Training on Theraoffice and routine tasks will be provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• One year of medical office experience preferred; EMR familiarity is a plus.
• One year in a customer service role is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Google Suite is required.
• Strong communication and professional interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a team and adapt quickly to new programs.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent record-keeping and report-writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors with a warm, welcoming demeanor and check-in.
• Schedule appointments to maximize provider time and room usage.
• Notify clinicians of arrivals and monitor on-time patient flow.
• Handle incoming faxes and EMR data entry with accuracy.
• Set up new patient cases in Theraoffice and verify insurance details.
• Support therapy sessions by assisting patients and guiding routines.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA and clinic policies.
• Maintain supplies inventory and order as needed.
