Job summary

ZoomCare is seeking a Clinic Associate to join our team at the Queen Anne Clinic. The role involves patient check-in/out, scheduling, payments, and helping patients navigate their medical records.

Responsibilities include phlebotomy training within six months, maintaining patient data, and supporting providers in a fast-paced clinic environment. Training spans initial in-person and travel across clinics as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1+ year of healthcare, customer service, or administrative experience recommended.
• Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Able to maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, AthenaOne, and other relevant software applications.
• Excel in a fast-paced environment, thrive under pressure and time constraints.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification or ability to obtain within 1 month of hire.
• Ability to complete ZoomCare’s phlebotomy training within six months of hire.
• WA: Must obtain Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist license within 6 months of hire.
• OR: Current phlebotomy license or equivalent licensure/training, preferred.
• Vaccinated against COVID-19 and listed diseases; exemptions may apply.
• Preferred: Current licensure/certification as a Medical Assistant or related credential.

Responsibilities

• Check patients in and out for appointments.
• Schedule new appointments as needed.
• Process patient payments.
• Educate patients on navigating their ZoomCare medical record.
• Maintain patient demographics and insurance information.
• Perform blood draws and finger sticks following laboratory standards.
• Process specimens and document results.
• Maintain and inventory supplies.
• Operate basic medical equipment.
• Provide emergency care when necessary.
• Support medical providers as needed.
• Keep the clinic clean and neat.
• Other duties as assigned.
