Job summary

ZoomCare Queen Anne Clinic is seeking a Clinic Associate to join a fast-paced team. The role includes checking patients in/out, scheduling appointments, collecting payments, and educating patients on ZoomCare’s medical records.

You may travel between clinics for training and coverage as needed. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in healthcare or administrative roles, strong communication skills, and a willingness to complete phlebotomy training within six months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1+ year healthcare, customer service, or administrative experience.
• Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Able to maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, AthenaOne, and other relevant software applications.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification or the ability to obtain within 1 month of hire.
• Phlebotomy training within six months of hire; WA license within 6 months; OR license preferred.
• Vaccinated against COVID-19 and listed vaccines; required per policy.

Responsibilities

ZoomCare is seeking a Clinic Associate to join our team!

The Clinic Associate is responsible for delivering the Perfect Visit experience in one or more of the following service lines: Daily Care, Family Medicine, Mental Health, Women's Health, Dermatology, and Podiatry. This can include scheduling appointments, updating medical records, checking patients in and out for appointments, performing blood draws, processing labs, and maintaining inventory.

SCHEDULE AND TRAINING

• Location: ZoomCare Queen Anne Clinic
• Schedule: Wednesday - Saturday
• Clinic positions required you to attend 2-3 weeks of training. The first week will be partially remote and at your primary location, the second and third weeks include traveling to multiple clinics in the area.
• Depending on the position and associated requirements, there may be additional mandatory training requirements that are outside of your scheduled shift.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED equivalent, required.
• Bachelor’s degree, preferred.
• 1+year of healthcare, customer service, or administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Able to maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, AthenaOne, and other relevant software applications.
• Excel in a fast-paced work environment, thriving under pressure and time constraints.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification from a recognized and reputable organization (e.g., American Heart Association, Red Cross) or the ability to obtain one within 1 month of hire.
• Ability to complete ZoomCare’s phlebotomy training program within six months of hire.
• WA: Must be able to obtain a Medical Assistant- Phlebotomist license within 6 months of hire.
• OR: Current phlebotomy license; equivalent licensure or training experience, preferred.
• Vaccinated against COVID-19, Hepatitis B., MMR, PPD, Varicella (Chickenpox), and TD/TDAP.
• Preferred: Current licensure/certification as a; Certified Medical Assistant, Clinical Medical Assistant, National Certified Medical Assistant, Clinical Medical Assistant Certification (CCMA) or prior experience as a Medical Assistant - Registered.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Frequent walking, sitting, standing, and reaching overhead.
• Occasional crouching, kneeling, and bending.
• Prolonged periods of standing/sitting and working at a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at time.
• Ability to move to a different clinic location based on business needs.
• Patient volume may often require more than your scheduled hours per week or work outside of regular business hours to complete essential duties of this job.
• Occasional reaching and lifting of small objects and operating office equipment.
• Ability to adjust focus between close and distance vision.
• Exposure to sensitive and confidential information.
• Ability to be fit tested and wear a respirator, when required.
