Job summary

ZoomCare in Portland, OR is seeking a Clinic Associate to deliver the Perfect Visit across Daily Care, Family Medicine, Mental Health, Women's Health, Dermatology, and Podiatry.

You will check patients in and out, schedule appointments, process payments, educate patients on how to navigate their ZoomCare medical record, and support providers. A high school diploma or GED is required; 1+ year in healthcare or administrative work is preferred; training includes phlebotomy and BLS.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1+ year in healthcare, customer service, or administrative work.
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Protect patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, AthenaOne, and related software.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment with time constraints.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers or ability to obtain within 1 month.
• Ability to complete ZoomCare phlebotomy training within six months.
• Vaccination requirements for COVID-19 and other listed vaccines.
• Preferred: Medical Assistant certification or related.

Responsibilities

• Check patients in and out for appointments.
• Schedule new appointments as needed.
• Process patient payments.
• Educate patients on navigating the ZoomCare medical record.
• Maintain patient demographics and insurance information.
• Perform blood draws and finger sticks following lab standards.
• Process collected specimens and document results.
• Maintain inventory and store supplies.
• Support medical providers as needed.
• Keep the clinic clean and neat.
