Job summary

Breakthrough Behavior is hiring Registered Behavior Technicians to provide ABA therapy in a clinic setting for children and young adults with autism and related developmental disabilities. You will implement goals written and overseen by a BCBA, collect data, and help families with progress.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or individuals with autism or other intellectual disabilities strongly preferred.
• High School diploma; college degree is preferred.
• Ability to work a schedule of 8:20 am - 4:05 pm, Monday through Friday.
• Ability to accept constructive feedback, acquire knowledge and develop new skills.
• Effective time management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to develop and maintain professional relationships.
• Adhere to organizational policies and procedures, and abide by BACB ethics.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care in one-on-one and group settings using behavior intervention services in the clinic setting from 8:20-4:05 pm
• Conduct skill acquisition and behavior reduction assessments under the supervision of a BCBA
• Follow the prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols
• Implement high-quality & successful behavior programs for clients
• Collect, record, graph and summarize data on client behavior
• Communicate with parents and caregivers regarding client progress
• Attend instructional trainings to acquire knowledge and grow your career

Education

High School diploma; college degree is preferred
