ZoomCare is seeking a Clinic Associate in Portland, OR to join our team and deliver the Perfect Visit across Daily Care, Family Medicine, Mental Health, Women''s Health, Dermatology, and Podiatry.

Responsibilities include scheduling, check-in/out, payments, and chart maintenance, plus phlebotomy and lab processing as needed. Training is provided; vaccination requirements apply, and clinics may travel to multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Work with and maintain some basic medical equipment.
• Provide emergency care to patients when necessary.
• Support medical providers as needed.
• Ensure the clinic remains clean and neat.

SUMMARY

ZoomCare is seeking a Clinic Associate to join our team!

The Clinic Associate is responsible for delivering the Perfect Visit experience in one or more of the following service lines: Daily Care, Family Medicine, Mental Health, Women's Health, Dermatology, and Podiatry. This can include scheduling appointments, updating medical records, checking patients in and out for appointments, performing blood draws, processing labs, and maintaining inventory.

SCHEDULE/LOCATION

• Three 11 hour shifts and a 6 hour shift
• Schedules: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and a half day Wednesday OR Half day Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday
• Clinic positions require you to attend 2-3 weeks of training. The first week will be at our Tigard basecamp and partially remote, the second and third weeks include traveling to multiple clinics in the area.
• Depending on the position and associated requirements, there may be additional mandatory training requirements that are outside of your scheduled shift

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1+ year of healthcare, customer service, or administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Able to maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, AthenaOne, and other relevant software applications.
• Excel in a fast-paced work environment, thriving under pressure and time constraints.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification from a recognized and reputable organization (e.g., American Heart Association, Red Cross) or the ability to obtain one within 1 month of hire.
• Ability to complete ZoomCare’s phlebotomy training program within six months of hire.
• Vaccinated against COVID-19, Hepatitis B., MMR, PPD, Varicella (Chickenpox), and TD/TDAP.
• Preferred: Current licensure/certification as a; Certified Medical Assistant, Clinical Medical Assistant, National Certified Medical Assistant, Clinical Medical Assistant Certification or prior experience as a Medical Assistant - Registered.

Compensation Package

• 401K with employer match
• Hourly Pay Rate: $19.50 - $26.50 Depending on past paid medical experience
• Other Compensation: May be eligible for other compensation such as bonuses

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Frequent walking, sitting, standing, and reaching overhead.
• Occasional crouching, kneeling, and bending.
• Prolonged periods of standing/sitting and working at a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at time.
• Ability to move to a different clinic location based on business needs.
• Patient volume may often require more than your scheduled hours per week or work outside of regular business hours to complete essential duties of this job.
• Occasional reaching and lifting of small objects and operating office equipment.
• Ability to adjust focus between close and distance vision.
• Exposure to sensitive and confidential information.
• Ability to be fit tested and wear a respirator, when required.
