Job summary

Aptive Resources, in partnership with Valor Healthcare, seeks a Clinic Administrator (RN) for the Yreka, CA Community-Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC). This on-site role provides daily clinical oversight alongside administrative management, ensuring compliance with VA requirements.

The ideal candidate holds an active California RN license and has healthcare administration or ambulatory care supervision experience, with knowledge of VA systems (CPRS/VISTA) preferred.

Qualifications

• Current, full, active RN license; graduate of ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program.
• Experience in healthcare administration, clinic or outpatient operations supervision.
• Experience supervising administrative/clinical staff in ambulatory settings.
• Working knowledge of VA systems (e.g., CPRS, VISTA) preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills; interface with VA staff and contractor leadership.
• Must complete VA credentialing/privileging review and background check prior to starting work; PIV credentialing required.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day administrative and operational management of the clinic.
• Supervise administrative and clinical support staff; coordinate staffing schedules and contingency plans.
• Serve as primary point of contact for VA COR and VA clinical leadership on day-to-day matters.
• Monitor QA/QASP performance and support corrective action planning as needed.
• Oversee Environment of Care requirements including safety, infection control, and equipment.
• Track licensure, credentialing, privileging, and VA training documentation.
• Coordinate clinic supply, equipment, and facilities needs with Contractor and VA/landlord contacts.
• Support oversight of administrative workflows, including scheduling accuracy and EHR data integrity.
• Communicate staffing plans to VA when patient panels approach capacity thresholds.
