Job summary

Aptive Resources, in partnership with Valor Healthcare, seeks a Physician Director to oversee primary care delivery at the Yreka, CA Community-Based Outpatient Clinic. This on-site role requires clinical leadership and supervision of mid-level providers within a VA PACT framework.

The ideal candidate will hold ABMS/BOS board certification or be board eligible in Internal Medicine and/or Family Practice, possess a California license, and complete VA credentialing and background checks before

Qualifications

• Board certified/eligible in Internal Medicine and/or Family Practice.
• Five years of primary care experience without board certification/eligibility, or two years with board certification/eligibility.
• Must hold a current, full, active California license/certification.
• Must complete VA credentialing/privileging review and a background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee primary care services for assigned and unassigned patients at the site.
• Provide on-site supervision of mid-level providers per state requirements.
• May credential as a Primary Care Provider in a dual capacity if authorized.
• Provide clinical leadership and ensure VA PACT standards are met.
