G1 Climbing + Fitness is seeking a full-time General Manager to lead our facility, support department heads, and drive overall business success. The role focuses on creating an exceptional member experience while driving membership growth, engagement, and revenue.

The ideal candidate will have management experience in fitness, hospitality, or similar customer-focused environments, with experience in P&L, sales, and people management.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of climbing experience with a strong understanding of belaying, climbing technique, terminology, and equipment.
• Experience with P&L management and financial accountability.
• Proven track record in sales, membership growth, and customer retention.
• Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills.
• Comfortable speaking publicly to groups of members, guests, and prospective customers.

Responsibilities

• Own membership growth and membership outreach as the primary objective of the role.
• Develop and execute strategies to generate new memberships, improve retention, increase engagement, and grow revenue.
• Establish monthly, quarterly and annual membership and revenue goals and be accountable for results.
• Analyze membership, sales, attendance, billing, and other business data to identify opportunities and improvements.
• Coordinate with department heads to ensure programs and offerings support membership and revenue goals.
• Provide CEO with regular sales and membership reporting and actionable insights.
