Job summary

The Mayor’s Office of Climate and Environmental Justice (MOCEJ) is seeking a Policy Advisor for Multifamily Housing Climate Solutions to accelerate building decarbonization and resilience citywide. You will advance program delivery, engage stakeholders, and support Local Law 97 compliance across NYC’s multifamily stock.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to analyze data sets and communicate findings clearly.
• Experience coordinating multi-stakeholder initiatives.
• Knowledge of building decarbonization and policy development.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of citywide Co-op Solutions Hub under NYC Accelerator for LL97 compliance.
• Coordinate workshops and manage multi-stakeholder groups across co-ops, condos, and affordable housing.
• Engage with partner agencies and community groups to promote the Co-op Hub.
• Analyze large datasets on building emissions, energy costs, and demographics to inform policy.
