The New York City Mayor’s Office is seeking a Policy Advisor to support the development and implementation of tenant protection strategies within the Mayor’s Office to Protect Tenants (MOPT). You will conduct research, manage strategic initiatives, and coordinate across city agencies and partners to advance tenant protection goals.

You will leverage strong analytical skills and policy expertise to develop recommendations, track legislation, and prepare materials for senior leadership.

• Strong analytical skills with data analysis and policy research experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, ability to synthesize complex information.
• Experience managing projects with multiple stakeholders and agencies.

Mansioni

• Conduct quantitative and qualitative policy analysis to inform decision-making on tenant protection initiatives.
• Develop policy recommendations and briefing materials for senior leadership including Deputy Mayor and MOPT Executive Director.
• Monitor and evaluate programs; propose improvements based on data, research and stakeholder feedback.
• Track relevant legislation, regulations, and national best practices in housing policy.
