Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in payroll, data entry, customer service, or software support.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office and common business software.
• Ability to learn payroll/accounting software and navigate systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; customer-service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Enter, update, and maintain payroll, employee, tax, deduction, benefit, and client information accurately within payroll software.
• Configure software database.
• Review data for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with procedures.
• Process client-submitted payroll information and identify missing or inconsistent data.
• Receive, document, prioritize, and respond to client issues and software-related requests.
• Troubleshoot basic payroll software issues and document data concerns.
• Maintain detailed records of client communications, issue status, resolutions, and follow-ups.
• Conduct software demonstrations and assist clients with system setup, navigation, and routine payroll tasks.
• Perform clerical duties including filing, scanning, data organization, and record maintenance.
• Assist with data audits, quality-control reviews, software testing, and implementation activities.
• Protect confidential payroll, employee, financial, and client information.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address client needs promptly.
