Job summary

ITA International is seeking a Client Support Administrator to join our Newport News team. The role supports the 9th Air Force and AFCENT assets, delivering secure IT operations, SharePoint administration, and user access management across classified networks.

Ideal candidates have 5 years of computer systems administration, DoDD 8570 IAT Level II, and a DoD SECRET clearance. A strong focus on security, reliability, and customer support is essential for mission success.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of experience in computer systems administration support.
• Proficiency in SharePoint Administration functions.
• Proficiency in DoD Network Account creation process.
• Proficiency in non-secure and secure internet protocol network and equipment operations.
• A current state and Government Driver’s License.
• Must possess a DoD approved SECRET security clearance to perform duties.
• All employees must pass medical screening per CENTCOM deployment standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct backing up and restoring of hard drives, and perform system crash recoveries.
• Implement physical and computer security measures by assigning, modifying, and deleting passwords and privileges.
• Provide limited software application assistance for commonly used office automation applications sourced from standard Air Force infrastructure support contracts.
• Ensure systems are kept up-to-date and compliant according to AFNOC.
• Ensure TCNO security patches are installed.
• Perform Client Support Administrator duties, including video-teleconference suite administration and network repair.
• Be designated as primary unit IT Equipment Custodian and TEMPEST Monitor.
• Train unit personnel on secure voice communications equipment.
• Be unit SharePoint administrator; manage unit SharePoint site.
• Coordinate installation and support of communications equipment; open network trouble tickets.
• Act as IT technical advisor for purchasing of new equipment.
• Perform IA trainer and program manager duties.
• Educate unit personnel on network vulnerabilities.
