Canteen is hiring a Client Services Specialist in the San Bruno area. The role supports school programs, manages orders, and ensures timely communication with clients. Hybrid work is available, with some in-office time required.

Ideal candidates have account management and customer service experience, plus strong communication skills. This full-time role offers training and growth opportunities within the Canteen organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Six months of equivalent advanced customer service experience is preferred; one year is strongly preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to build internal/external relationships.
• Timeliness and accuracy with the ability to prioritize and organize workload.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint; Excel for data tasks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate order execution for school orders, updates, price sheets, menus, budgets, and delivery details.
• Provide proactive, professional customer experience and timely issue resolution.
• Onboard new and returning schools with system records, delivery information, invoicing requirements, and welcome materials.
• Maintain strong school relationships with consistent outreach and practical recommendations.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with Operations, Sales, Accounting, Nutrition Education, Marketing, and other partners.
