Job summary

AMMEGA in Burlington, NC is seeking a Customer Support Specialist to facilitate information requests, quotes, and orders by coordinating with customers, sales, and vendors. You will handle orders via fax, email, or phone and ensure accuracy and timeliness.

The role requires strong communication, analytical thinking, and collaboration; you will build relationships, process orders, follow up on statuses, and support inventory and pricing activities.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred and/or at least four years of previous experience.
• Experience with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process customer orders via multiple channels.
• Research order history and verify inventory availability.
• Maintain and update customer files.
• Communicate order status with sales staff and vendors.
• Obtain pricing for purchases and generate quotes.
• Assist with accounts receivable by contacting customers for past due invoices.
