Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at a client site in King, NC. You will perform skilled blood collections and provide exceptional patient service while representing Labcorp at the client site.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, phlebotomy certification or training, and strong communication skills. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm with occasional overtime possibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Other Duties as assigned
