Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training or 3+ months as phlebotomist preferred.
• 1 year or more phlebotomy experience preferred.
• In lieu of experience, accredited phlebotomy certification acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately into the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed.
• Travel to additional sites as required.
