Job summary

Labcorp in Kings Mountain, NC is seeking a Phlebotomist to work in either a Patient Service Center or Client office. You will perform skilled specimen collections, provide exceptional customer service, and act as the face of the company with opportunities for growth within the organization.

The role requires venipuncture/capillary techniques across ages, data entry, billing responsibilities, and high standards of accuracy and patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
