Job summary

Labcorp in Clyde, NC is seeking a Phlebotomist to join a client site team. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages, and you will handle data entry and billing as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, phlebotomy certification or training, and a willingness to travel to additional sites. You will provide superior customer service and work Mon-Fri, 8:30am-5:30pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience as a phlebotomist.
• Preferred: 1 year or more phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
