Job summary

Labcorp in Burlington, NC is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. Schedule: Monday-Saturday, AS NEEDED, variable up to 19 hours per week, with travel to additional sites as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, and phlebotomy certification or training, or 3+ months experience. Strong customer service, communication skills, and the ability to work independently or in a team are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program is required or 3+ months experience as a phlebotomist.
• Preferred: 1 year or more phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
