Job summary

Labcorp in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Phlebotomist to perform blood collection and data entry with a focus on patient service. The role requires a high school diploma and phlebotomy certification or training, or 6+ months of experience. The position may involve travel to additional sites and offers a path for growth within Labcorp.

Schedule is Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm, with potential evening or Saturday hours. Bi-lingual abilities are a plus and Labcorp is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completion of a phlebotomy training program, or 6+ months of experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
