Back Cove Animal Hospital in Portland, ME is seeking an experienced veterinary client care specialist to join our 5-doctor team in a modern, paper-less facility with digital radiology and in-house lab.

You will welcome clients and patients, manage phone lines and emails, schedule appointments, process payments, and help maintain a clean reception area. Flexible Saturdays and a positive, energetic attitude are required.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and strong communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work on a computer.
• Experience in a veterinary hospital preferred (2+ years).

The Back Cove Animal Hospital is looking for an experienced veterinary client care specialist to join our 5-doctor veterinary hospital in Portland. We are a paper-less practice equipped with digital radiology (including a designated dental suite), ultrasound and full in-house laboratory. Our veterinary client care specialist responsibilities include:

• Providing an exceptional client experience
• Greeting clients and pets
• Managing multiple phone lines
• Managing client communications through email
• Scheduling appointments
• Processing payments
• Making sure reception is clean and presentable

Applicants must have a positive attitude, excellent communication and multi-tasking skills and computer proficiency. The ideal candidate has at least 2-years of experience working in a veterinary hospital. Applicants should expect a flexible schedule and be available to work 1-2 Saturdays per month.
