Job summary

Health Care for the Homeless seeks a Client Access Associate II to deliver front-line customer service, registration, scheduling, and insurance verification across multiple agency locations. You will mentor CAAIs and support clinical and administrative teams to ensure seamless client flow.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in health or human services and 1+ year in customer service, with strong communication and data-entry skills.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in health or human services.
• One or more years of customer service experience.
• Ability to operate standard office equipment.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and ADA requirements.
• Strong English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register clients, schedule appointments, and verify insurance.
• Maintain accurate data entry in electronic records for registration, billing, and client tracking.
• Provide clerical support to clinical and ancillary staff at the assigned worksite.
• Interview clients and external resources to collect complete information.
• Ensure compliance with agency policies and HIPAA rules.
