Job summary

Health Care for the Homeless in Baltimore, MD seeks a Client Access Associate II for a full-time, non-exempt role handling client services, enrollment and records across agency locations.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in health/human services, 1+ year in customer service, strong English communication, and experience with Microsoft Office and EHR systems. HIPAA/ADA familiarity is required.

Qualifications

• Two or more years in health or human services.
• One or more years in customer services.
• Experience with office machines (computers, fax, copier, scanner).
• Knowledge of HIPAA and ADA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Registration, scheduling, insurance verification and enrollment as routine duties.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients, staff and visitors.
• Input data accurately into electronic records and databases.
• Generate and submit reports from Centricity, Beacon and other software.
• Mentor and train junior staff as needed.

Education

High school diploma or GED

Associate's degree or higher preferred

Course work in community health or related field

Certified Application Counselor (Maryland Health Connection) a plus
