Job summary

Chisholm Trail Veterinary Clinic of New Braunfels in New Braunfels, TX is seeking a friendly Receptionist to join our team. You will greet clients, schedule appointments, process payments, and obtain medical history to ensure smooth visits.

This role emphasizes compassionate customer service, teamwork with doctors and technicians, and accurate data entry. Weekend availability and light lifting are preferred, with a competitive hourly wage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Weekend availability as needed.
• Must be able to lift 30-50 pounds.
• Client service experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, quality customer care to patients and clients.
• Process invoices payments.
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and obtain all necessary medical history.
• Determine the status of the patient’s immunizations and tests.
• Communicate with the doctor and technical staff on the patient’s arrival and necessary treatments.
• Fill prescriptions, food requests, and over-the-counter products as instructed by a veterinarian.
• Accurately input data into computer software.
