VCA Alameda East Veterinary Hospital is hiring a Client Service Representative for the day shift. You will be the welcoming face for clients and their pets, handling phones, scheduling, and patient records with a focus on compassionate, efficient service.

You will collaborate with veterinarians and techs to ensure a smooth visit experience, educate clients on services, and support the hospital team in delivering exceptional care in a fast-paced setting.

Formación

• Experience in client-facing roles preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide outstanding front-desk service to clients and their pets.

• Answer multi-line phones and assist clients professionally and empathetically.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate emergency and specialty visits.
• Explain treatment estimates and assist with payments and insurance processes.
• Maintain accurate medical records and correspondence.

Every day, you'll play an essential role in building lasting relationships, supporting our medical teams, and ensuring every client feels informed, supported, and cared for throughout their visit.

What You'll Do

• Providing exceptional customer service by warmly welcoming clients and their pets.
• Creating a positive first impression while building trust and lasting relationships with clients.
• Answering multi-line phones and assisting clients with professionalism and empathy.
• Scheduling appointments and coordinating emergency and specialty visits.
• Making outbound calls for appointment confirmations, follow-up care, and client communication.
• Preparing and maintaining accurate medical records, reports, and correspondence.
• Presenting and explaining treatment estimates, processing payments, and supporting financial transactions.
• Educating clients about hospital services, preventive care, and available resources.
• Working collaboratively with veterinarians, technicians, and hospital leadership to provide an exceptional client experience.
• Resolving client concerns with compassion, professionalism, and diplomacy.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming hospital environment.

Compensation

$19.84-$22.00 per hour

Compensation is based on experience, certification, skills, and qualifications.
