Job summary

Remedy Intelligent Staffing in Aiea, Hawaii is seeking a Client Service Representative to maintain positive relationships with patients, clients, and the public. Position: Client Service Representative
Location: Aiea

Schedule: Must primarily be available Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm (off on Wednesday & Thursday). Initial training will occur Monday through Friday for two weeks.
Pay: $19.50 per hour

As a Client Service Representative, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining positive relationships with patients, clients, and the public. You’ll be the go-to expert for providing prompt, accurate, and courteous responses to inquiries, always ensuring smooth and professional communication. In this position, you’ll help resolve issues that may affect test performance or results, working closely with supervisors and clients to address any concerns. Additionally, you’ll assist with various clerical activities and respond to requests for laboratory services, making sure our clients receive top-tier service and support. Job Duties:

• Promotes positive company relationships with patients, clients, and the public through prompt, accurate, and courteous resolutions of all telephone and other inquiries.
• Identifies pre-analytical as well as post-analytical problems that may adversely affect test performance and/or results and notifies the appropriate department supervisor/manager and/or client.
• Performs clerical activities and responds to clients’ requests for laboratory services.
• Answers telephone, receives, and accurately relays messages.
  • Retrieves reports and relays results over the telephone or via fax.
  • Receives requests for services and dispatches technicians, as needed.
  • Responds to client requests for reports.
  • Completes forms for test additions or cancellations as requested by clients.
• Research and relays test and/or client information as appropriate.
• Assists internal and external customers with questions, concerns, problems, etc.
• Maintains and monitors the call printer.
  • Assures printer is operational.
  • Contacts clients with critical laboratory reports.
  • Prints the call list and verifies that all calls were made and documented.
• Operates laboratory information system as directed.
  • Prints and distributes reports.
  • Works with all departments regarding test additions and cancellations
• Maintains files and retrieves material according to established systems and procedures.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a science or health related field preferred; OR high school diploma, relevant training, and comparable work experience.
• One year patient care, customer service or equivalent public contact experience.
