Client Service Coordinator

SUMMARY OF JOB PURPOSE AND FUNCTION

The Client Service Coordinator ("CSC") manages the flow of clients and pets through the hospital, maximizes the productivity of the veterinary team, ensures effective communication with clients and associates, and coordinates care in a friendly, welcoming, and efficient manner. The role aims to encourage client return and referrals.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

  • Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team.
  • Actively promote hospital services and direct the flow of clients and pets to ensure high-quality care and team productivity.
  • Maximize the number of pets seen by supporting a productive and efficient hospital environment, especially for wellness plan clients.
  • Provide professional, efficient, and exceptional service at all times, including welcoming clients and pets, ensuring their comfort, and educating them about pet health.
  • Educate clients on Optimum Wellness Plans, preventative care, and hospital services.
  • Assist incoming clients with documentation, entering pet information, and ensuring prompt service.
  • Assist outgoing clients with instructions, invoices, dispensing prescriptions, retail sales, and scheduling appointments.
  • Manage finances by maintaining accurate balances and following proper procedures during opening and closing.
  • Perform administrative functions as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
