Job description

We're hiring a Customer Service Coordinator to support our Automotive customers at PPG. The coordinator will review customer order priorities to ensure on-time delivery performance. They will develop a proactive stance in dealing with all customer service related problems and implement appropriate action plans to ensure satisfaction. You will report to a Customer Service Supervisor. This is a remote position.

Key Responsibilities

Assist and respond to escalations of customer questions and/or complaints via phone, email, and chat in a timely and professional manner.

Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues that have been escalated, providing clear and concise solutions and training to team on solutions.

Order entry/management as needed using our ERP system, sourcing to multiple manufacturing locations and fulfillment centers.

Indirectly assist in management of account load of customers and partner with commercial sales team for growth and success.

Stay up to date with product knowledge and company policies to provide accurate information to customers.

Support of team on daily review and updating of orders, priority lists, customer and file maintenance.

Working with planning, scheduling, production and shipping to ensure on-time shipments and manage inventory in a cost-effective manner.

Coordinate and provide after-hours/weekend support on as needed basis for emergency situations where customer service is required.

Qualifications

2+ years of customer service experience required

4+ years of customer service experience for manufacturing clients preferred

Experience with high volume of data entry with low error rate

Oral and written English communication skills
