Job summary

NVA General Practice is a welcoming veterinary clinic seeking a friendly Veterinary Receptionist to greet clients and their pets, schedule visits, and support day-to-day operations. You will be the first point of contact, ensuring a smooth and stress-free experience for both patients and their people.

Candidates should excel in communication, manage busy schedules with care, and collaborate with the veterinary team to deliver outstanding client service.

• Basic computer skills for scheduling, records, and payments.

Responsibilities

The Role

As our Veterinary Receptionist, you’ll be the smiling face and friendly voice that welcomes clients and their pets. You’ll be the first point of contact, making every visit feel smooth, organized, and stress-free for both humans and animals alike.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A natural ability to deliver top notch customer service with professionalism and kindness
• Familiarity with animal care is a plus (pet grooming, dog training, equine care, animal husbandry, or pet care experience)
• Bonus points for knowledge of lab procedures or veterinary critical care
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment while staying detail oriented
• Basic computer skills for scheduling, records, and payment processing
