SUMMARY OF JOB PURPOSE AND FUNCTION
The Client Service Coordinator ("CSC") manages the flow of clients and pets through the hospital, maximizes the productivity of the veterinary team, ensures effective communication with clients and staff, and provides a welcoming, friendly, and efficient environment. This role encourages client retention and referrals.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
- Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team.
- Actively promote hospital services and direct the flow of clients and pets to ensure excellent client care and maximize team productivity.
- Support the hospital's wellness plan clients by maximizing the number of pets seen through efficient hospital operations.
- Provide professional, efficient, and exceptional service at all times, including welcoming clients and pets, ensuring their comfort, and educating them about their pet's health.
- Educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans, preventative care, pet health needs, and hospital services.
- Assist incoming clients with documentation, enter pet information into the computer, use proper identification tags, and ensure prompt service.
- Assist outgoing clients by providing instructions, information, invoices, dispensing prescriptions, selling retail products, and scheduling future appointments.
- Manage finances by maintaining accurate balances and following proper opening and closing procedures.
- Perform administrative functions as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
