Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation is seeking a Universal Banker to deliver exemplary client service in a retail banking setting in the United States. The role includes handling transactions, account openings, and customer education on digital banking tools.

You will support sales by outbound outreach, identify client needs, and coordinate with branch teams. Excellent communication and multi-tasking in a dynamic environment are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years teller/cash handling or client service experience required.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; enjoy interacting with clients and prospects.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Proficient in basic computer applications (MS Office).
• Willingness to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs and locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends or extended hours with occasional travel/overnights.

Responsibilities

• Provide distinctive client experience and manage transactions with accuracy.
• Educate clients on digital self-service options (ATMs, Online/Mobile banking).
• Support sales by outbound calls and identifying client needs.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise.
• Participate in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Attend training meetings to enhance product knowledge and service quality.
• Adhere to controls and risk management policies; stay updated on procedures.
• Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and issue resolution.
