Job summary

JP Morgan Chase in New Jersey is seeking a Relationship Banker to represent our brand in a branch setting. You will acquire, manage, and retain client relationships, using financial knowledge to tailor solutions and meet clients' financial needs.

You will lead with hospitality, educate clients on technology tools, and collaborate with specialists to address complex financial needs. The role requires sales experience, strong communication, and weekend/evening hours as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or foreign equivalent.
• SIE, FINRA Series 6, state registration (including 63 if required), and Life licenses are minimum requirements; unlicensed hires must obtain licenses within 180 days.
• Must be able to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings.
• Experience in Retail Banking or Financial Services with proven client acquisition.
• Ability to create memorable client experiences and tailor product recommendations.
• Strong communication and consultative skills.

Responsibilities

• Put clients first and deliver attentive, friendly service.
• Manage assigned clients, meet with them, and tailor recommendations.
• Engage in clear, consultative communication to build trust.
• Educate clients on technology solutions (Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, ATMs).
• Learn products, services, and procedures to consult with clients and connect them to experts.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
