Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation is seeking a Regular full-time Retail Banker to provide exceptional client service in-branch and over the phone. The role includes expanding client relationships, offering financial solutions, and cross-training for teller duties as needed.

The position emphasizes sales targets, consultative conversations, and referral to specialists, with strong emphasis on compliance and ongoing product knowledge development. Weekend hours and some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office).
• SAFE compliance within 30 days including NMLS background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide industry-leading client service in person and over the phone.
• Develop and expand client relationships to meet branch growth targets.
• Conduct consultative conversations and refer complex needs to internal specialists.
• Participate in branch leadership routines and team sales processes.
• Attend training and product knowledge sessions to advance sales skills.
• Advise on consumer lending options and take loan applications.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and risk management policies.
• Engage clients with courteous service during teller transactions and navigation assistance.
