Job summary

Gottlieb & Greenspan is a growing boutique law firm in Bergen County seeking a Legal Billing Coordinator to support the financial operations of our healthcare-focused practice. You will track settlements, awards, and reimbursements, and prepare billing summaries and reports for internal teams and clients.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in client billing or AR, and familiarity with EOBs, settlements, and reimbursements.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or Legal Studies preferred
• 2–4 years of experience in client billing, accounts receivable, or insurance claims (healthcare or law firm is a plus)
• Working knowledge of EOBs, settlements, reimbursements, or recovery processes
• Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills
• Proficiency with Excel and Salesforce
• Attention to detail and customer service focus

We are seeking a Legal Billing Coordinator to support the financial operations of our healthcare focused legal practice. This role sits at the intersection of finance, law, and client service. You will assist with tracking settlements, awards, and reimbursements, support internal teams with account level information, and help ensure records and reporting remain accurate and organized. If you are detail oriented, proactive, and enjoy supporting matters through to resolution, this role offers meaningful exposure to both legal and financial workflows.

What You Bring

• 2–4 years of experience in client billing, accounts receivable, or insurance claims (experience in a law firm or healthcare setting is a plus)
• Working knowledge of EOBs, settlements, reimbursements, or recovery processes
• Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills
• Proficiency with Excel and Salesforce
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Hiring Range:$55,000-$60,000 / year, commensurate with experience
