Job summary

Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and Affiliates in New York is seeking a Client Intake Coordinator for a hybrid role. You will screen new client and matter requests for completeness and compliance with internal guidelines.

You will coordinate with partners and secretaries to gather missing information, advise on the best course of action, and help set up clients and matters in Aderant, while supporting the Client Intake team in day-to-day tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum of two years of administrative work experience in a professional services environment.
• Knowledge of Outlook and Excel; ability to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Screens new client/new matter requests for completeness and compliance with Firm's requirements.
• Communicates with partners and partner assistants to obtain missing information and data.
• Advises partners on the most appropriate course of action for new clients and matters.
• Provides knowledge and support to others to improve Client Accounting processes.
• Responds to inquiries from attorneys, executive assistants, paralegals and staff.
• Escalates issues to supervisor and ensures timely follow-up.
• Coordinates with Client Intake team to set up clients/matters in Aderant.
• Supports day-to-day requests and maintains information on client/matter policies.
