Client Manager Small Case - Employee Benefits

What You’ll Do / Key Responsibilities

As a Small Case Client Manager on the Employee Benefits South Central Regional team, you will provide exceptional support and customer service to an assigned caseload (Employer Groups of 10-99 lives) through daily guidance and education. Your responsibilities include:

  • Manage renewal activity and amendments
  • Identify and promote additional coverage lines or plan improvements, including new product offerings
  • Recommend plan changes as appropriate
  • Facilitate enrollment and re-enrollment processes as needed

Building meaningful relationships with internal and external customers (Sales Representatives, Brokers, Producers, Employer Groups, Policyholders, Vendors) is vital. You will demonstrate core company values and brand in all interactions: timely communication, problem resolution, professional negotiation, etc.

The Skills & Background You’ll Need
  • Proven ability to cultivate effective business relationships
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with a willingness to exceed expectations
  • Problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills aligned with company goals
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with underwriting guidelines (preferred)
  • Knowledge of Group Employee Benefits Products (preferred)
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM (preferred)
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Life and Disability insurance licenses for all states within the assigned territory are required within 6 months of hire, with renewal upon meeting continuing education requirements.

Please note: The salary range for this role is listed below. Our package includes incentive participation, comprehensive medical, dental, vision, retirement benefits, initial PTO of 164 hours per year, 11 paid holidays, and 2 wellness days annually.

  • Incentive participation depends on individual and organizational performance.

Salary Range: $75,000
