Job Summary

The Associate Client Manager (ACM) is responsible for the overall relationship with the client, from implementation and everyday problem resolution through renewal activities. The ACM may work directly with sales executives on small groups generally under $50,000.00 ANR, with minimal assistance from a Client Coordinator. They maintain senior management level contact with Benefits, Human Resources, and the financial staff of the client. The Associate Client Manager is also responsible for ensuring client satisfaction through effective service delivery of Luminare Health products and services.

This role is based remotely, however candidates must live in one of the following states: IL, MT, IN, IA, KS, MO, NC, NM, OK, PA, TX, or WI

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Manage ongoing day-to-day client relationships, including problem solving, issue resolution, and personal contact via calls, visits, and meetings.
  2. Create, analyze, and present reporting packages.
  3. Coordinate and present renewals and claim reviews, with appropriate follow-up.
  4. Present industry, corporate, and market issues relevant to clients.
  5. Complete Client Action Plans and recommend upselling strategies.
  6. Oversee stop loss renewal processes in collaboration with the Sales Coordinator/Underwriter.
  7. Implement new business in collaboration with the implementation manager, including working with sales producers and ensuring timely completion of SPD.
  8. Set up and maintain performance metrics.
  9. Coordinate communications regarding new groups, plan changes, issues, and new products with clients and internal departments.
  10. Produce reports, analyses, and other projects as directed.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
  • 2-3 years of client coordinator or related experience.
  • Results-oriented and self-motivated.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to interact with senior executives.
  • Thorough understanding of self-funding and employee benefit plans.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree.

Compensation varies based on skills, education, and experience, and the role is eligible for an annual incentive bonus.

Salary Range: $56,700.00 - $106,400.00
