Job summary

Marsh McLennan seeks a Client Manager for Business Insurance in Iowa. You will oversee a diverse client book, coordinate marketing, prepare proposals, and bind coverage with accurate policy documentation.

You will serve as the primary contact for clients, build carrier relationships, assess risk programs, and provide strategic recommendations for coverage enhancements, collaborating with Producers and teams to meet agency goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent with industry licenses preferred.
• Experience in customer service, underwriting, or commercial lines insurance.
• Familiarity with binding authority and underwriting guidelines is a plus.
• Strong organization, attention to detail and time management.
• Proven interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and CRM tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee servicing of a diverse book of business with accurate policy handling.
• Coordinate submissions for marketing, including applications and schedules.
• Prepare and present proposals and bind coverage per guidelines.
• Assist with marketing and placement of new and renewal business.
• Serve as primary client contact and ensure responsive service.
• Build relationships with clients and carriers to boost loyalty.
• Assess client risk programs and recommend coverage enhancements.
• Provide risk management advice during renewals and endorsements.
• Collaborate with Producers and cross-functional teams on client activities.
