Job summary

Tempus AI is seeking a results-driven Client Operations Manager to support the Client Management Operations team. You will collect project metrics, organize performance, and prepare proactive, client-facing materials for touchpoints and meetings.

You will own client relationships, coordinate with lab, order processing, finance and customer success teams to keep samples moving, flag risks, and help ensure projects meet budget and timeline.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or relevant experience in cancer biology or related fields.
• 2+ years in management consulting, customer success, account management or client-facing roles.
• Interest in the Healthcare industry, especially the business side of science.
• Strong proactive communication, highly organized, detail-oriented.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and coordinate with internal/external stakeholders.
• Experience with Google Suite, Slack, Microsoft Office; Salesforce/Looker a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the Client Management Operations team by collecting key project metrics, organizing project performance, and providing proactive, detailed client-facing materials for client touchpoints and meetings.
• Own client relationships and ensure meetings are held efficiently and effectively.
• Coordinate across internal stakeholders such as laboratory, order processing, finance, and customer success teams to move samples through the lab, flag bottlenecks, and ensure projects meet budget and timeline.
• Support escalation and resolution of critical project-related issues with resourcefulness and decisiveness.
• Maintain accurate, high-quality collateral and ensure organized documentation across all projects and portals.
• Contribute ideas to internal initiatives to enhance product offerings across Tempus teams and SOPs.
